Hello!
I am Carina Kraemer, a Stuttgart-based German artist, born in Böbingen in 1987. My abstract works develop intuitively, layer by layer, throughout the painting process. I combine conscious decisions with spontaneous moments, allowing room for change. My works are not intended to dictate a specific interpretation, but rather to leave space for individual perception and personal experience.
Gemstone Layers is an ongoing series in which I explore color, transparency, and depth. Inspired by the intensity and complexity of natural gemstones, organic forms and luminous color spaces emerge. Transparent layers of paint overlap, come forward, and disappear again. Depending on the light, distance, and perspective, the effect of the works changes again and again.
