Wie die Jahresringe eines alten Baumes ordnen sich die konzentrischen Kreise auf dieser runden Leinwand. Sanftes Salbeigrün, Olive und warmes Beige gehen dabei fließend ineinander über. Der durchscheinende Leinwandgrund, charakteristisch für meine Gemstone Layers Serie, gibt dem Werk die schimmernde Klarheit des gleichnamigen Edelsteins. An der Wand entsteht eine sanfte, natürliche Stimmung, die den Raum weicher wirken lässt.

Like the growth rings of an old tree, concentric circles unfold across this round canvas. Soft sage green, olive, and warm beige flow gently into one another. The translucent natural canvas, characteristic of my Gemstone Layers series, gives the piece the shimmering clarity of the gemstone of the same name. On the wall, it creates a soft, natural atmosphere that makes a room feel calmer and more inviting.
