Morganite

Die zarte Transparenz, für die der gleichnamige Edelstein bekannt ist, war der Ausgangspunkt für dieses Bild. Zarte Rosé-, Mauve- und Pflaumentöne legen sich in weichen Ringen übereinander und erzeugen eine nebelhafte, fast schwebende Tiefe. Die durchscheinende Naturleinwand – ein Kennzeichen der Gemstone Layers Serie – hält die Farben leicht und luftig, und das runde Format lässt die Schichten frei weiterkreisen. An der Wand bringt es eine stille, weiche Stimmung mit und lässt einen Raum ruhiger wirken.

The delicate transparency for which the gemstone of the same name is known was the starting point for this painting. Soft shades of rose, mauve, and plum overlap in gentle rings, creating a misty, almost weightless sense of depth. The translucent natural canvas — a defining feature of the Gemstone Layers series — keeps the colors light and airy, while the round format allows the layers to continue flowing freely. On the wall, it brings a quiet, soft atmosphere to a space, creating a sense of calm and serenity.
