Mookaite Fields I - 50x60 cm

Mookaite Fields I opens up a bright, cloudy field of cream and soft blush, framed by deep burgundy, plum and mauve. Mustard and ochre glow in between, a touch of mint cools the warm tones, and two dark brushstrokes add calm accents. Broad, loose strokes and drybrushed areas let the layers beneath shimmer through, like the veins and inclusions of the gemstone of the same name. Part of the Gemstone Fields series, painted as a trio with Mookaite Fields II and III and also available individually. Mookaite is known as a stone that grounds you while awakening a desire for new beginnings. This painting carries the same energy: it offers stability and warmth, and the quiet confidence to set out on new paths.
