Eingeschlossenes Licht, das sich langsam nach außen bewegt – so entstand dieses Werk aus meiner Gemstone Layers Serie, gemalt auf einer runden Leinwand. Warme Gold-, Honig- und Bernsteintöne kreisen um ein helles Zentrum, dunkle erdige Akzente geben ihnen Tiefe. Zwischen den lasierenden Schichten bleibt die Naturleinwand sichtbar und lässt die Farben von innen leuchten, ganz wie im gleichnamigen Edelstein. Im Raum wirkt es wie eine warme Lichtquelle – besonders schön dort, wo es abends etwas Wärme geben soll.

Enclosed light slowly moving outward — this is how this piece from my Gemstone Layers series came to life, painted on a round canvas. Warm shades of gold, honey, and amber circle a luminous center, while dark, earthy accents add depth. Between the translucent layers, the natural canvas remains visible, allowing the colors to glow from within — just like the gemstone it is named after.

In a room, it has the presence of a warm light source — especially beautiful in spaces where you want to create a sense of warmth and coziness in the evening.
