Eines der großformatigen Hauptwerke meiner Gemstone Layers Serie. Auf einem Quadratmeter entfalten leuchtendes Türkis und tiefes Violett eine besonders intensive Farbtiefe, die Ringe greifen weit aus. Zwischen den kreisenden Lasuren bleibt die Naturleinwand sichtbar und erzeugt jene bänderartigen Übergänge, für die der gleichnamige Edelstein bekannt ist. Auf dieser Größe bestimmt es den Raum und schafft eine intensive, fast schwebende Atmosphäre.

One of the large-scale statement pieces from my Gemstone Layers series. Across one square meter, luminous turquoise and deep violet unfold with remarkable intensity, while the rings extend broadly across the canvas. Between the swirling layers of translucent color, the natural canvas remains visible, creating the banded transitions for which the gemstone of the same name is known. At this scale, the painting commands the room, creating an intense, almost weightless atmosphere.
